The MedKit Environmental Conditions Monitoring Platform allows you to visualize changes in your environment in near real-time, allowing you to take action on important events.
CMS Regulations and Interpretive Guidelines on temperature, humidity, and airflow in anesthetizing locations must be maintained within acceptable standards to inhibit microbial growth, reduce the risk of infection, control odor, and promote patient comfort. CMS Regulations and Interpretive Guidelines for Hospitals 482.41(c)(4) and 485.623(b)(5) require facilities to verify that pharmaceuticals are stored at temperatures recommended by the product manufacturer and a way to review monitoring records for the temperature to ensure that appropriate levels are maintained.
Facilities are also required to review humidity maintenance records for anesthetizing locations to ensure if monitoring determined humidity levels were not within acceptable parameters, that corrective actions were performed promptly to achieve acceptable levels.
Our Environmental Conditions Monitoring Platform allows you to set minimum and maximum thresholds, receiving an alert when a sensor crosses a threshold (email/SMS). The software also helps with compliance by providing a historical view of your data.
Detailed metrics are logged and stored in the MedKit platform for auditing and review. Critical incidents are recorded and can not be modified by any user giving you a compliant and accurate view of your facilities’ operations.
